Tal Palgi

Born in 1971, I am a mother of a teenage daughter and a social worker by profession. In the past, I worked as a therapeutic riding instructor for individuals with special needs, as well as a counsellor for adults living with developmental disabilities. I currently live in Ottawa, Canada.

At the age of 49, I encountered biographical counselling during my search to make sense of my life’s journey and to explore the question of my calling. For me, biographical counselling has been a blessing of healing, balance and personal growth

This path is unique in its ability to foster a deep inner connection and to support meaningful transformation through our individual gifts. I believe that in order to shape the reality we desire, we must open ourselves to new ways of learning and acting in the world—by recognizing our hidden will and bringing it into fulfillment.

I came to Hotam school following a health and occupational crisis. There I discovered anthroposophical knowledge, which gives meaning to suffering. The question is no longer ‘Why?’ but rather ‘For what purpose?’ We are all beings in the process of becoming, on a path toward betterment. Life events shape and assist our evolving essence.

Seeing counselees via Zoom in Hebrew and in English.
