Teacher in training
I am Brazilian, born in 1971 in the USA. I grew up in the UK and have lived in São Paulo, Brazil, since the age of 18. I have 3 adult children who studied at a Steiner School, through which I was able to deepen my connection to Anthroposophy. I graduated in Psychology and at the age of 40 I trained as a Biographical Counsellor and found a clear professional calling. Motherhood was also a central element in my life and still brings me many opportunities to learn and grow as a human being.
Since childhood, I’ve carried questions about the greater meaning of life. I found answers in various “places,” among them Anthroposophy, in the Biographical Counselling Training, and especially in studies with Orna Ben Dor and other teachers from the Hotam School since 2017. These studies have become a spiritual path of profound self-development and have led to a radically new understanding of my biography.
The desire to share these teachings with colleagues in Brazil led me to help organize annual online community studies offered by Hotam School, translated into Portuguese, since 2021. I feel so grateful to have found and to be a part of this stream.
