General Introduction
This book is the outcome of my participation in Mr. Zvi (Henri) Briger’s Biographical workshops, which I then conveyed to my students. Ever since 2011, Birger (1933-2020), a Biographical Counsellor and spiritual researcher, has been imparting the knowledge of Anthroposophic Biography as founded by Dr Rudolf Steiner. This knowledge, which was gained over many years, was conveyed by means of inspirational and creative workshops, to which he added his own interpretations and the results of his research.
After I myself had held several of these workshops for my students at ‘Hotam’ School for Anthroposophic-Biographical Counselling and Karma, I decided to edit the material, and publish it with a few additions as a book titled ‘Essential Fulfillment of the Karmic Imperative, Methodology for Anthroposophy-based Biographic Counselling’. This book is intended for students of Spiritual Science, Biographical Counsellors, Waldorf School Educators, Anthroposophic Doctors, other therapists, and anyone interested in spiritual development according to the Spiritual Science of Anthroposophy, as reflected in biography.
The book deals with one of the most important topics of Biographical Work – Karma. It is based on The Knowledge of Karma and Repeated Lives (Re-Incarnation) which Steiner presented to the world at the beginning of the 20th century. According to Steiner, this is the most important knowledge to be introduced in our time, to prevent humanity from falling into the trap of materialism, so that we might continue on the proper path of development.
